Amy R. Paul is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in private practice in her community for over 20 years. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and is a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors.

She provides individual and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults across the developmental lifespan.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and Human Services with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Chestnut Hill College.

Fifteen years ago, Amy earned her DIRFloortime® Certificate of Proficiency as a DIRFloortime® Practitioner, supporting clients through a developmental approach and focus on individual differences who are on the autism spectrum. 

Previously, as Director of Therapist Mediation at Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation, she developed custody agreements and consulted with divorcing parents on the impact of divorce on the family system and assisted parents in learning to coparent as their family restructured.  She created and taught educational curriculum for community presentations for professionals and potential clients.  Amy was responsible for hiring, training and supervising therapist-mediators.

Amy lives in Bucks County where she grew up.  She is passionate about focusing on the core principles of what it takes to be healthy, incorporating emotional, physical and spiritual elements in creating a strong foundation for growth.  She enjoys researching family genealogy, reading, learning, organic gardening, creating recipes, cooking for and spending time with family.
